Finding your fee tier and discount settings on Binance, OKX, Bybit and Bitget
Each exchange hides your personal trading fee rate and any token discount behind a different menu. This walkthrough shows where to look on each, what to write down and how to check fees on a real fill.
Multiple exchanges | Philippines | PHP | fees, access and account safety
A public fee table shows every tier, from new accounts up to large professional traders. What you need is one line from that table: the rate your account pays today, plus whether a discount is switched on. All four major exchanges show this on a personal page, but each calls it something different and places it somewhere else. Spending ten minutes finding those pages once gives you a baseline in pesos that is far more honest than any comparison chart, because it reflects your own account rather than an example.
Binance: dashboard fee rate and the BNB toggle
On Binance, open the account dashboard and look for the fee or VIP level section, which shows your current maker and taker rates for spot and futures. Nearby is a setting to use BNB for fee payment; when it is on and you hold BNB, fees are deducted in BNB at a discount described on the fee page. Write down your level, both rates and whether the toggle is on. If you do not hold BNB, the toggle has no effect, so note that too.
OKX and Bybit: fee rate pages inside the account
On OKX, the fee level appears under your profile or on the trading fee page when you are logged in, with separate rows for spot and derivatives. On Bybit, your fee rate is listed in the account area and on the fee structure page for your level. Neither shows a discount toggle in the same way as Binance, so the main task is to record your tier and the maker and taker figures for the products you use. Check whether the page shows different rates for certain pairs or promotions.
Bitget: the BGB deduction option
Bitget shows your VIP level and rates in the account section and offers a BGB fee deduction setting. As with Binance, the discount only applies if the setting is on and you hold enough BGB. Record the same four facts: level, maker rate, taker rate and discount status. Keep all four exchanges on one page of a notebook or a simple spreadsheet with the date at the top, since tiers and promotions change and you will want to know when you last checked.
Confirm with a real fill
After placing a small trade, open the trade or fill history and read the fee charged on that fill. Divide it by the filled value to get the actual rate and compare it with what you wrote down. If it differs, check whether the order filled as maker or taker, and whether a discount token was used. Converting the fee into pesos at the time of the trade helps you see whether the cost matters for the size you trade, which is the real purpose of a baseline.

Scenario checkpoint
- Record level, maker rate, taker rate and discount status for each exchange you use.
- Check whether the BNB or BGB deduction toggle is on and whether you hold the token.
- Date your fee notes, since tiers and promotions change.
- Verify the actual rate on a small real fill by dividing the fee by the filled value.
- Convert fees into pesos to judge whether they matter at your typical trade size.
